Hello from Scotland!

Hello everybody!

We deeply apologize for not being able to share an update with you sooner! Our lodging at the Allison Carhill House is too far out for our hotspot to be able to connect, and we have been on the go since touching down in Glasgow. All is well, and we are having a blast exploring, serving, and worshipping together!

Here is an update one of our work groups wrote yesterday...

We are so happy to have arrived in Scotland! We ran into a few problems at the airport, getting to our breathtaking destination 6 hours later than expected. After getting settled in as we could, we spent our first night touring two of the churches around the area. Stetson church was our first tour being here in East Linton. There, we saw the chapel and cemetery and beautiful architecture. We ended the day together with the highlights and lowlights of our journey. Leading into the next day, we spent our first breakfast together and spent time in Stetson to do our morning watch. We later visited the John Muir house, and made a spontaneous trip to Dunbar beach close by. There, our trip entailed of off shore cliff climbing and a hunt for sea glass upon the shore. After, our adventure continued with a trip to FoxFall Lake. There, we completed a high ropes course with nothing benthe us. As our pilgrimage continues, we hope to dive deeper into the community of one another and with the adventure with our faith.
